For the brightest, most vibrant result, Manic Panic recommends pre-lightening your hair to around level 8 blonde. The shade can be applied to a level 6 base, but the result is likely to be more of a subtle orange tint rather than the vivid finish shown in the swatch. The Classic High Voltage formula is conditioning, vegan and cruelty-free, with no PPD, ammonia, resorcinol, phthalates or gluten.
